1970 Volkswagen Camper, Devon Conversion Tin Top.
Will come with 12 months MOT and Tax (Tax Exempt)
As you can see from my other ad's I'm having a bit of a clear out and this is the one that really hurts me to part with! She's a great example of a 1970 VW camper fininshed off with an off white paint and a red interior.
She has had just about everything done to her but to give you a rough idea:-
New cab doors.
Rebuilt sliding door.
Rust free engine lid, tailgate & rear valance.
Inner, middle & outer sills.
Outriggers & jacking points (all).
Front panel (top & bottom).
Battery trays.
Rear quarters.
Front wheel tubs.
Cab floor.
and the list goes on........
Her interior is an original Devon (tourvette??) converion which is in great condition, not immaculate but very good! She sleeps 2 with ease, a 3rd if you decide to add a cab bunk. The cab is clean and the dash is relatively uncut although the stereo appature has been widened at some point for a CD player.
Her engine is a 1600 twin port, totally standard bar the twin quiet pack ehxhaust. She runs sweet with no nasty knocks or bangs.
Basically, a very clean, tidy, lovely looking van.
This van had had 2 owners until last year, one of which had owned it since 1973 and used it to tour all over Europe several times back in the day. We love this van and I guess we're always going to say she's wonderful but she just has that certain "something".
I do have photo's and have tried to load them on here but keep being told that my file is too big no matter what format I do it in. Email or call me and I'll send them.
Please give me a call if you have any questions 07990 767 624.
