Great work Si, looking very clean in there.

Thanks Jon, got a real sense of Deja vu though, did exactly the same job to my last bus, can't believe I'm doing it again. Can't wait till I can drive it again.

Congrat's on your prize at Dub Freeze, you have one sweet bus. 8)

Firetech install looking good - hope to do mine soon also

Thanks, doesn't take too long to do with the engine out, would say it would be alot more tricky with the engine in.

Hi Simon

What did you end up using instead of the tar board for the roof of the engine bay?

Hi Graham,

Ended up using self adhesive fire retardant foam from the company below, cost about £30 for 1.5mx1mx12mm sheet, which is more than enough, you could almost do two at a stretch. Don't know how effective it is yet, but thought I could always make up some boards to fit over the foam.

Nice and sunny today, so finally got the bus out under her own steam again.

First time with her new stance, drop spindles on the front with T2D coilovers and one spline rear drop. (Crap photos though  )

(I don't see your name down for Bustypes......it would be great to see you in the line up.)

Jon

Yes, really pleased how it all turned out. :D

Haven't booked up for Bustypes, my other half thinks it would be too cold to camp. I might plant the seed to come up on my own  or with my lad? Looking forward to DatC though 8)

Must be a nice feeling (and hopefully 1 i'll soon enjoy  )

Certainly is. Got to the point of wondering if I would get it finished in time. Hope you get yours sorted soon.

She passed her MOT today :bliss:

Got a bit of rubbing though on the front arches on big bumps, need to try stiffening up the coilovers to see if this helps. :?

Now the engines running just got 2 cv gaitors to replace on the last driveshaft and then..................

Glad you got her running, do you think it still needs a rebuild?

Fingers crossed for you for the MOT.
