Thanks, doesn't take too long to do with the engine out, would say it would be alot more tricky with the engine in.

Ended up using self adhesive fire retardant foam from the company below, cost about £30 for 1.5mx1mx12mm sheet, which is more than enough, you could almost do two at a stretch. Don't know how effective it is yet, but thought I could always make up some boards to fit over the foam.
