After 3 years of pleasurable ownership, the time has come for a change so our 1971 camper "Stan" is up for sale.
Fully restored by the previous owner 5-6 ago, the bus is in great shape. The work was carried out by the previous owners brother in law who worked at a BMW body shop. Loads of pics available to show the replacement metal, paint prep etc. A good quality resto.
MOT'd until the end of March 2012 and taxed until April 2012 (1971 so free road tax). Serviced at DG Motors in Wellingborough when MOT'd.
Recon 1600 engine fitted with about 6000-7000 miles on it. Runs well, starts every time and pulls like a train.
Lowered on Porsche "cookie cutter" wheels - all the tyres are great
Devon sunlander interior
Devon poptop with twin hammocks
Fantastic dove blue/white paint with the only paint blemish on near side rear arch
No rust bubbles or blisters
No rust in the gutters, battery trays etc
All the panels are in great shape
Split charge system
Twin burner gas cooked
Buddy seat
Garaged all year round.
