After owing my 72 for several years and driven it everywhere in the UK I have decided its time to spend some money.

Below are some "Before and During" pictures, I am told it will be in the work shop for another month and cannot wait to get it back.

It does not look too bad from a distance!

Before.

Looks like it has had a new front put on from a late bay and converted to low lights. I have checked the paper work, its right.

Passenger wheel arch its not too cleaver, you cannot see it in the pic but the sliding door has the classic split at the bottom from when it fell off one time..

Gutters are split and missing in places.

Ok is been a few weeks since the last update.

Some of the panels have had a reaction to some of the primer, the guys have been hard at it trying to sand it down to make the primer stick.

The top has been resprayed and set in the oven. The green has been done but dried without the oven being on to help avoid further reaction.

Both the top and bottom have had two coats so I hope it sticks!

Nice colour and a good finish 8)

Question - what are those protrusions sticking out from under the rear valance?
