Hi I have just purchased a beautiful Westy bay so I have to say bye bye to my beloved 72 double cab.
This 1972 Swedish import is LHD,with og paint.It is believed to have been used as a forestry commision vehicle.
It has had a complete turnkey 1600 engine fitted only last year. Many new parts including heat exchangers, exhaust,tinware, battery etc.
It has been recently lowered on BRM's. New ball joints, master cylinder and new tyres all round.
Newly fitted CD player and speakers and new seat belts in the rear.
The drop sides are in very good working order.
The chassis is solid and there are no dents or dings to the bodywork. It has a good "patina" with some very minimal surface rust on the edges. The original commercial door signs have been re-created and look very authentic.
Included is the Empi roof rack which is just a year old.
Of course Tax Exempt and the MOT is until Jan 2011.
