Cheers chaps :D Pickles - the only thing that has been chopped out sofar is the floor as it was knackered anyway, patched over 4 times in some places! Hilly_70 getting a donor chassis sounds like a brilliant plan if they're readily available and in good nick. Do you have any recommendations for breakers? Also I need to buy some steel to fabricate a few body repair pieces (I can make the parts now for fitting after the chassis work), is there a certain grade of steel I should try to buy or is normal shop mild steel usually used? Sorry for all the noob questions! I'm using a gopro camera to do a timelapse of the resto, it's taking a shot every minute from a fixed position in the garage (a shot is in the album I linked in the first post) and depending on just how many shots I get by the end of the project I'll decide a framerate and blend it all into a film. Should make an interesting watch if it goes well!
