I am in a dilemma here as money is comimg my way to lavish on the rather cold looking camper outside (as its cover has not arrived yet) i need the following but which would you get first

heating (propex and underfloor lpg tank)
alloys (but I am at stock height so I would need to lower)
bodywork (i have a few blemishes that could do with a lick of paint)
cushions (they are original but starting to tear a little so i fancy suede replacements)

i am thinking heating first as we could use it during the winter then???

what do you reckon...

Heating - a lot more useful and like you say, you can use the van more often :D

go for slammed on standard rims and a heater. If you look on ebay for a 2nd had heater you should get both for £500.

I reckon you should keep on top of the bodywork and maybe waxoyl or something similiar. Winter's here now and this will be what makes the van last as a long term proposition. Wheels, lowering etc can happen at anytime.

1st - Heater (if your going to camp out)
2nd - Lowered and alloys
3rd - Bodywork
4th - interior (but if your going for the heater then i would be do this at the same time)

Body work, get the basics sorted and keep on top of it then lavish all the love and attention and of course more money as it comes in.....

Heating - wear a wooly or the swedish M90 parka
Alloys - refurb your steelies on the cheap for now, or stand out and ride it stock
Cushions - cheap fleece throws for now, suedes not gonna be cheap so get saving

Personally I'd save the money and spend it on the bodywork in the spring.

I need to waxoyl my van, but I'm going to wait until the weather improves next year, I'd hate to do it now and seal the moisture in. I guess if you've got the luxury of a heated garage your alright though.

Definitely this ^^

Rot gets harder to sort the deeper-set it gets. Deal with it early (& properly) and it will save hassle in the long run.

All the other things on your list are not important (comparitively) to the lifespan of your vehicle.

Save the 'Scene' stuff for when the important stuff is done ;)
