Hi. My bus have major rust in rear chassis rail/torsion tube area. From where rails are rusted badly, are also tubes rusted through. So if someone have gone through this plese give me good tips whats the best way to do it. :) I also noticed that theres no new repair sections available.

Hi😃
I have replaced that section in mine. Bought the rear cut section from Schofields, then removed spot welds from rails attaching to the body and re welded again. Looks daunting at first, but after removing the rusted metal i realized it was not so difficult. Loads of places to reference to👌

With the axle tube, one option is to cut the floor back to provide access to patch up the tube.

This is how my bus axle was fixed, although I need to do it again.

I bought a complete rear section cut from Schofields, from the part where the main rails finishes by the torsion bar all the way to the back.
The part you posted the link is to repair the main rails in the middle of the Bus. From the torsion bar towards the back the rail has a different size and to my knowledge there is no repair section available, only for Splitty and Late Bay, so used might be the only option or fabricate what you need.

That is a beast of a section!

The good thing about a section like that is the ease of preparation and protection before you install it. :character0036:
