Here we have something quite rare, a left hand drive Dormobile. Dormobile is an English company & the majority of their conversions were on UK right hand drive buses, this one however was built for export to Italy & we still have the original documents, stamped throughout its life there. It was then imported back into the UK by a Volkswagen hire company , where it enjoyed making many families happy memories in the picturesque New Forest.
The Dormobile conversion is lovely & very quaint, almost country cottage feel about it. The side elevating roof had new bellows fitted when it arrived & the light simply floods in through the large skylight windows, making it so light & airey . The cab is in excellent condition & you'll see the passenger seat lift forward to reveal the camping cooker underneath.
In the back you have lots of storage , a sink , a massive cool box, with drian plugs, should your ice blocks melt. A table that clips onto the cabinets, or also when fitted with the 4 legs, you can use it outdoors while camping. You'll notice the buddy seat by the sliding door which is removable to make more room & behind it it a small wardrobe.
The rear seat converts into a 3/4 size double bed for 2 adults & up top you have 2 canvas bunks.
Having been used for a hire company, its been serviced regularly to provide reliable service & testament to this it has just flown through a new mot needing only a couple of tires & light bulbs.
Its finished in "Elm green", which is quite a rare colour & suits this camper perfectly & is in very good condition, with just a tiny little bubble along the rear hatch, so very good.
So to summerise, if you're looking for an Early bay in nice condition & a little different, then this is the bus for you & well priced at just £13,500, was £15,500. SALE PENDING
