redoing the pics after PB fail!!
Purchased in August 2009 and with all good intentions!

Started work on various areas then left again for a while due to lack of workspace :(

Then I decided to bite the bullet and send him away

to Wye Valley Classics to get pushed ahead. Bring on the HOLES!

Belly pans kept the floor and top hats nice but what happened to my chassis rails?

Time for a little blasting

Ready steady

A HOLE lot of work!

'Y' me!

So, we begin with £1500 worth of new metal to replace the sieve I have at present.
Hopefully the highs can out way the lows along the way, so until next time.

Like you gutsy attitude. Get stuck in, it will come up a treat. Patience money and a PMA.

Keep us posted.

LV :D

WOWZA, plenty to do there but they are worth it in the end, stick with it and good luck.
Chris

regards - Rob

After a while of no progress, we have moved on. However I don't know if this is progress or not. It may have been easier to start with 4 wheels and build up from there

So, lucky scrap metal is a good price at the moment!
Onwards and backwards.

New sills,

On with an arch,

I reckon around another 2 weeks work!!!!!!

WOW
What a rot box - good on ya for keeping up with it though :D

Looking forward to seeing this progress

VW knew how to treat their vans for anti rust in those days!
I might just get it back on the road when I'm too old to drive!
Onwards and backwards.

mmm. My 71 Dormobile is now in bits and I have done nothing in 3 months. Not a good sign. The rust is winning...

Ages since last post, ages since last done any work!
Moving forward with new metal.
Seemed a good idea buying back in 2009!
Hay ho.
