Hi all, My 1971 bay is rather low notched at rear and tubbed on front. I did have a beetle engine in it but it never ran well so I have upgraded to a 1641 twin carb. The beetle engine had the bracket higher up not the low down long bar I have on my new engine. The problem I have the engine bar is only 2 inches from the floor. The area I collected it from had many of those poxy ramps the 2 together type. What's starting to happen the bottom bolt had been pulled out causing the engine bar to bend back because of the poor clearance. I need to raise/ modify this before I rip the 2 higher ones out as well?? Anyone????
