Hi crew

Got a lowering question regarding drop spindles. Used the search function with some success but not 100% answering my question- what issues will I run into with the brakes/ calliper putting late bay drop spindles on my 71 bus?

Been in the process of getting this ‘71 on the road for 10 years. My son and I run a restoration shop in Sydney, Australia but same old story- customers cars come first of course.

It was a good body to start with, just sills, tray floor, lower apron and purchased new Klassic Fab drop sides.
Finally fitting it up after paint last week.

Hiya bud, the reason you might not be getting too much in the way of answers is the most of the Earlybays don’t run with discs. A lot of us still run with drums. The one fella that will know what issues you might hit is probably Graham at Midland Early Bay. It’s good odds that he’s your best bet because he does so many. He does Earlies and Lates and crossovers So should be able to help. Might be worth sending him a PM and tell him what sort of spindles you’re thinking of using. There are three or four different types, from Transporter House with flipped balls to French Slammers that seem the most popular nowadays. Have a chat to him by PM.

Ozziedog,,,,,, ,,nice fella too
