1600 Engine
USA import so LHD.
Simple (old westfalia I think) Interior, 3/4 RnR bed.
GOOD STUFF
This bus is not a show van but I spent a year looking for a solid bus that was mechanically reliable and ended up importing from USA. This van has, only this year, had its first bit of welding it has ever needed! Its totally solid underneath. Also, I have also had it four years, its been my daily driver for much of that and its never broken down yet. Always starts. Very reliable. So if you want a very solid reliable bus at a good price this cross-over bay is a bargain! Just did some more work on the body and the interior whist waiting for a sale.
LESS GOOD STUFF
The main work that needs to be done is on the pop top roof. It needs a new canvas (I can provide details of were to get this less common canvas in UK) and there is a small drip in the front cab (which I hadn't noticed and it got damp under the carpet - hence the first ever piece of welding was needed on an otherwise solid bus). The loading door's handle snapped in the very cold winter and I haven't replaced. That's pretty much it! If I was not now in another country I would not sell this bus at all!
This van is already very serviceable or an extremely easy full restore (no major body work to do).
Call with any questions.
