I've checked timing, tinware seems to all be present as is the foam seal around the engine but our 1800cc type 4 engine seems to be running hot, especially as we are now regularly towing a Puck.

I'd like to look into fitting an additional oil cooler, either underslung (running standard height set up) or in the engine bay with a fan. Does anyone have an recommendations of products I can buy as a kit? Limited mechanical ability so ideally as user friendly as possible

If your engine is running too hot, adding an additional oil cooler will cool the oil.
This will help to prevent the oil being degraded by getting beyond its intended temperature limit.

It should be born in mind though that it will not cool the cylinder heads and valves (where the real heat is and where failure will occur if overheating).
