So I bought my 76 TinTop a few months ago. I has a 4" narrowed front beam with drop spindles, no front shocks, tubbed front and was lowered way down. and the ride was terrible!! Now I do like the lowered look but could not drive it the way it was so I took it to a local shop where they raised it up to the max height up front, installed shocks and installed a front sway bar. The ride is a whole lot better but not what I want. Very twitchy over 50mph and a lot of squeaky noises when just putting around. Can anyone direct me to a shop or someone who really knows these buses in the Hudson Valley region? Thanks for any help guys!
