Hi,

I'm going to be working in Dusseldorf (Thurs & Fri every second week) for the next few months and am thinking of staying over an extra day or so to visit the VW museum.

Has anybody on this forum been there? If so, how much time do you need to see it? Half a day or a whole day, or more?

Would also appreciate any advice regarding staying in nearby hotels etc.

Thank you,

Mike

The stiftung museum is good, loads of weird stuff in there as well as normal buses and beetles, well worth a visit.
The autostadt has a museum with some old stuff in,some none vws too,it also has buildings showcasing vws other brands such as bentley, skoda and seat, worth a visit too, both these are in wolfsburg, you can also go around the golf factory i think.

cant really help with accomodation, except to say there is a holiday inn there, not cheap though, have a good time.

I think Clyde went just before Christmas
