hi all,

I need to fit a front bash pan to my RHD '69 dormobile.
I know I need a 'long pan' but are LHD and RHD front pans identical please?

ta.

i've noticed that the layout of a pan is not symmetrical and wondered if this makes a difference?

No, they're not the same, there is a cutout section for the pitman arm, I fitted a LHD one to my RHD 69, easy - just had to cut out a bit of material to allow for the RHD pitman arm.

As you look at the pan face down (ie flat rim round the edge would be flat to the ground) which should the cut out for the pitman be for a RHD please?
My van is currently at the welders so I can't take a look!
Cheers

This picture is of a LHD pan, see the cutout to the left of centre at the bottom of the picture, just remove the same amount from the right hand side and you're done!
