I have a 71 early tin top that used to be a panel van. It has the proper low rear lights but has this new test point incorporated in the loom. The only wiring schematics I can get with this have the late bay rear lights and reverse lights which my van does not have! Any one know I'd I can find the correct one from my chassis number or mnplate details?

the samba...

The samba and vintage bus seem to only have the north American diagrams. Looks like I am removing the old loom and doing a carbon copy much againsty wishes

have a look around this site ...may be the one you want is there..where is your bus from ?

It's a British registered bus the last of the early bays which incorporated the test point and "more powerful!" engine

lots of diagrams here as well:

Reversing lights were option so ignore them on the diagram if you don't have them.

Madjack,

She is going well still on her side for a little longer thanks to your generousity found plenty of fresh air where metal used to be and my welder is working overtime. The engine is finished the gearbox refurbished all new doors for her ready to furnish and fit so am doing well.

Only thing I am struggling with is a wiring loom as the one i pulled out had been put in by an idiot and I am surprised she never went up in flames but advise on here is fantastic and I shall be starting that in my livingroom on the dark nights this week.

I can't use photobucket so gutted I can't get pictures of her on here

David
