Finished the bus today with new shocks and took it for a spin!



What can i say but oooooooooooh niceeeeeeeee :lol:

It drives or should i say glides along lovely!!

Stock is the new cool 8)


Next up on pay day is the tires "ahem :oops: " copied from snow-pikey ;)

Here's what I used to run, back in Canada.... I think studded tires are a bit overkill now my bus is in the UK.

This is what I have now.... Just mud & snow. Cant wait to get my Bus registered and get them dirty :D

I know its a late bay but gotta say that black and silver one in the pics section looks as tough as they come 8)

Nothing too crazy on the drive train mods actually. Front beam tubes cut, turned & welded. Rear spring plates raised one click. 4 rancho shocks. Wheels are mercedes 7X15 et25 and tires are black star guyane 235/75*15. Tires looked great and were very efficient offroading but they where huge and with the heavy offset of the wheels I had to cut in the bus quite a lot..

Nothing like that on the new 72 though. I'll try to fit tires as big as on the red one but i'll have 6' wheels with better offset, and also a slighter less aggressive tire profile.

But an off road bus is a lot of fun!
