Awesome, what sizes are they? :D
Err not sure ....................Huge
they are actually the front tyres off my mates baja bug on some of my old 356 rims , the back wheels on his baja bug are just ridiculously large.

I'll get the sizes tomorrow when ' try the front ones on. Going to drop the coilovers off the front and jack the front end up and see if they fit under

did it myself, used bus selector for the bus and bug selector for the baja rims. Then cut and chopped it around on the bog standard microsoft paint programme :D

Dont tease now and be a good boy, show the class what you have been doing :msn4:
 currently work in progress, wheels to go on tomorrow...............well 2 of them anyway, the main thing is to make sure they clear the rear arch as i'm not doing any body mods, if that's need it'll be back to plan A ie leave it as it is and get on with engine transplant, but that's another story :msn4:

tyres are 195x80 x 15 INSA TURBO SAHARA, only had 2 to mock up.

Looks great. 8)
Be interested to see how it drives with those front tyres so close to the arch?
Hopefully no rubbage ;)

yes clear the arches, maybe the 5 1/2 rims changed to narrower 15 rims would help, a little too much offset, but rears are no closer than my current tyres to the arch and fronts do clear on full lock.

Cant drive it, as only mocked up and only had 2 tyres! :(

Maybe 1 day someone will decide that somewhere in the middle of slammed / baja will be the place to be, oh hold on that will be stock then

Nah, that would be called standard and conforming to the norm. It's against my basic principles in life. Every thing must be modified

The front is red 9, so removed shock and let suspension droop down fully, lowered it back a further 2" then put it on axle stands. Back is just jacked up. Front will need either longer coil overs or lowering the top shock mount on the beam. Rear will need 1 spline up.
Yes does fit in garage clears the door by 2" just doesnt look like it cos we took arty lowdown photos to show ground clearance. For now it's back to stock until I find 4 tyres and another pair of rims!

2 things this had to prove was
1. No body mods required ie altering arches etc
2. Still had to fit in the garage

Suspension wise it only approx 3" up on a standard bus, thinks it the large tyre profile that adds the extra lift.

I know what you mean. It started out as a bit of a laugh borrowing the tyres of my mates beach buggy. I thought it would look pants but it sort of growing on me. Also got to see the underside easily and reminded me I need to sort out some waxoil before the British weather kills my bus
