I thought my discovery had the worlds rottenest bumper but you've beat me hands down :lol:

Bargain panel even if you just kept the engine.

yeah the front bumper is a little bit rusty alright :lol: .how rare are walk through panel vans ? the engine runs very well and the gears are nice and tight all the lights are still working and its the first VW bus i have ever had that has an untouched wiring loom no nasty radio install or cut wires .

Looks worth saving, it may even be worth dragging out cleaning up a bit and selling on, just because you cant resotre it doesnt mean some one else wont, you get two bonuses then you save an early bay and could make a few $$

In all seriousness, if either of these busses do get broken for parts, I am looking for a 1600 twin port WITH ALL THE COOLING TIN ETC as my tired single port has beetle cooling tin and heat exchangers and want a TP as a base for me to build a new engine myself. Either look like hard work, but hats off to anyone who take one on!

Yeah my panel is a walk thru , not seen many others though , and I do have a keen eye for the panel vans :lol:
