I wanted to pick up a set of Beru spark plugs for the spares box. Most likely short reach for a 1776 engine. What part number am I looking for?

hi magoo, don't know the part number but i have always used bosch and never had a problem. the beru ones probably give a small saving but the bosch is worth the extra imoh.
cheers, dave :D

Beru 145/14 is the equivalent of the Bosch B5ES which is pretty common in 1500/1600 bugs & campers. I've found that Bosch parts have really gone downhill recently.

Using this cross reference link, the NGK B5ES/ Bosch W8CC are long reach.
http://www.sparkplug-crossreference.com/convert/beru/145/14/3" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

But that cross reference has the info :) Beru 145/14 = Bosch W8AC short reach. But that will be for 1600 engines, still not sure what is suitable for 1776. I suppose I'll just need to remove mine and hope they were the correct.
