New to the forum (and to VW ownership), but I thought I'd start a wee gallery thread chronicling our adventures with Beth.

We have a few mods planned, but they'll be mostly cosmetic as I'm not the most mechanically-minded person. The threads on here have inspired me to try a few things, but I'll probably be leaving the big jobs to the pros!

Three weeks (and four tyres) after buying her, we got her out for her first overnight trip yesterday. There was one slight hiccup when she stalled on a roundabout and wouldn't start again, but 15 minutes later she was up and running and the rest of the journey passed without incident.

First (ahem) "mod" done. It's not much, but tiny acorns and all that.

And a nosey wee ladybird checks out my bus.

First interior panel re-covered with baby blue leather and fitted. It's far from perfect, but I learned a few lessons so I might go back and do it again if the others turn out better.

Good job keep at it. As you said from acorns.....................
I am the opposite and Boris was sent away to have his insides done
and I tackled the engine side.
Keep up the good work.

And the Lord said "Let there be light"...

These wee guys were £5 each in Go Outdoors, and are remote operated - hopefully an end to smacking my head every time I sit up. The brackets screw in and the lights clip on with magnets. Pretty handy!

That's looking really well. and the same year as our 71 dormobile.
