Hi, what bike racks do you use on your bay.? I don't have a tow bar fitted so what's best to use?

thanks

Have this one:

Used probably a dozen times now. Seems well made and holds the bikes securely.

I have a maxxrax one,

I like it because I can tow my trailer and carry bikes, the rack also fits on my Golf, so I only had to buy one rack. its not ideal for small bikes though, a bit of a faf getting them on.

Yup same here. Good British engineering.

Solid and importantly keeps the bikes away from the bodywork.

Another for the maxxraxx. A warning for the racks that attach with straps, had one on my old van, parked up and left the bikes locked to the rack. Went for lunch and when we came back someone had cut the straps and tried to nick the bikes with the rack attached. Luckily I had also put a lock around the rack and bumper so everything was just in a pile on the floor.

Mine's a Fiamma T2, fits perfectly and would be a devil to remove with bikes attached if somebody tried. :D

Bought it on the forum 'used' and picked it up at a show, so a win-win all round.

I use one of these..

http://www.pendle-bike.co.uk/shopping/strap-on-rack.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

keeps bikes high up and leaves number plate & lights visible and still able to open engine lid whilst fitted :)

Makes no difference if you had one of those wracks that fits on the tow bar. They will just loosten the bolts and walk off with them all. Unless you locek them to the car of course.

The added bonues to the theif with a mount that holds the wheels and bikes upright - easier to carry off
