Bus Paint Colour

Hi everyone,

So my bus is going for paint today. I have decided on a two tone paint scheme with L380 Turkis on the bottom and white on the top. Any opinions on which white might work best for the top half? Don't think I'm going to go for the bleuweiss as was done with the original split combination. I saw a pearl white and Turkis scheme at Tatton in July which worked quite well.

Also, should the VW badge be painted the same colour as the bumpers and wheels or should it be done to match the white on the top half of the bus? Can't seem to find any info on this on the Samba etc

If you're going custom paint job than I don't really think it matters what you do. Sorry I can't advise of a nice white, however I would recommend you use the same white on top half, bumpers and badges. 2 different whites might look mismatched.

That's what I was worried about but VW painted the bumpers and wheels (Splitty era) in Silver White regardless of the white on the top half. I am worried about getting them painted Silver White only for it to look weird. Guess I could have the body shop paint a sample first.
