I made mine years ago and it still looks good. I overordered and made a second from the excess fabric, sold straight away, good feedback.
A similar perforated vinyl is readily available off the roll, it's pliable and stretchy, so easy to fit tought. Surprisingly cheap and the width of a roll is over what you need for a t2 bay cab.
I know the original was heat seamed but stitching is just as good.
If you know someone with a sewing machine who can stitch straight, and big scissors. There are only a few straight lines of stitching to do and you already have the perfect template to measure and copy. I went slightly oversize on the outside edges then trimmed to suit during fitting.
