Canada to Nottingham for Christmas

My wife and I are visiting my son in Nottingham for the Christmas holidays. I would love to meet some VW folks, see some buses and search for VW related treasures. If any goodhearted folk can tolerate a couple from the colonies , it may be fun to meet up.
Also, is there any used or new part vendors in the the Nottingham area? Thank you in advance.

There's a couple of big clubs here in notts who will prob be having a Xmas meet or two

Dubs r us and Midland Aircooled collective both on Facebook


Also dependant on when you arrive the forum has a cracking meet at the American diner in Swadlincote usually around the second ish Sunday of December 8)

Vendors wise the closest used on I can think of is volksheaven in Doncaster 40 mins away from notts

New parts closest I can think of is machine 7 about an hour away :mrgreen:
