Here is a REALLY fun bike, for not a lot of money!
3 Years ago Eastern Cruisers built me and three friends these imported 'Choppers'. They initially were 'learner legal' bikes with only a 125 engine fitted onto a full size frame. To look at them you would think there is no difference to a regular larger engined bike. BUT you could ride them on a provisional.
HOWEVER, one of the three bikes (my one) we had the 300cc conversion kit fitted and this is the bike you see for sale here.
I have had much fun on this bike, and it draws comments wherever it goes. It has had a conversion done to the exhausts so sounds nice and throaty, it is in immaculate condition (I would say showroom!) as those that know me will appreciate I am a bit anal with the care and time I take detailing my vehicles!!:lol:
It is an ideal bike to start from, as it looks a real big flash bike but very managable being only a 300cc. If you put this next to the 125cc bikes we also bought it looks almost identical, you would really struggle to tell the difference until you ride it and hear it running. IT IS STILL REGISTERED AS A 125cc on the paperwork.
The bike is only just three years old and I have only just this week had it serviced and MOT'd for the new owner. All the little niggles you get with the new conversion have been done and this bike is in perfect running order. I have only covered 1k miles on it from new!
Here's a little more info about the Chopper....
* 4 stroke, water-cooled twin cylinder engine
* Electric start (with brand new 12v battery)
* 5 speed gearbox
* Suspension - Front tele forks & Rear single shock
* Disc brakes front & back
* Brand new MOT and 8 months tax
*freshly serviced only 4 miles ago!
* One owner from new with original bookwork
* Ultra low mileage with only 1k miles on it
* Fantastic condition, bodywork, brightwork and mechanically.
I am looking for £1200 for the bike as unfortunately I now have some serious medical issues with my back so will not be able to enjoy it as much as I have done. So my misfortune could be your gain as this really is very little money for such a fun bike and in such 'as new' condition.
