Hello. I've got a 1968 westy. It's running a later bay engine with a 200mm clutch I've recently bought a late bay gearbox (not a 6 rib) as my original was rubbish. I'm reading that it's 215mm clutch. So I'm confused as my flywheel is 200mm and ran fine so do I now need to find a 215 flywheel? Or will a 200mm do the job?
Thanks in advance

215mm clutches were used on AS type 1 engines from MY1974 and Type 4 engines.
If you've got a 200mm flywheel then you can only use a 200mm clutch, but it will be OK.

I've got a 2054 stroker engine running a modified 5 rib gearbox through a 200mm clutch and have had no issue.

Ideal, thank you very much. I was thinking that I needed to go find a 215mm flywheel.
