Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!  Just spent the last few days trying to remove an IEdefender hijacking malware from my PC.

It kept closing down Internet Explorer and directing me to a bogus site....as well as goodness knows what.

Be ware :!: :!: What thoughs inocent looking links :!:

Get spybot on ya PC, free and works like a treat 8)

I'm with Jon on this one, get a Mac

Considering a mac myself whats the best options out there?

I've got a Black 13" Macbook but have just bought one of the new 13" Aluminum ones with bigger processor, 4Gb Ram, Nvidia Graphics card etc etc so can't wait to start using that.

Easy really depends what you want to use it for :?: :?:

I have a 13" Macbook Black too.

It is great for pretty much everything I use it for.

The only things that I have an issue with is downloading from the BBC iplayer, 4oD etc. A bit more expensive than a PC and takes a while to get used to but i will never go back now.

yeah cos Macs don't get viruses or have security holes ...
please don't fall for that myth!
If you can afford it get a mac and then you can install windows on it too
Seriously get a Mac and a PC if you can - Mac notebook and PC desktop

I only really use a pc at home for internet stuff and music, with the odd bit of excel and word thrown in, sounds like a mac would be perf
