confused about window seals...

Right,

Heritage sell two different side window seal. One style fits 68-79, but they also do a slimmer seal for early bays. Mines a deluxe, they don't do one of these mysterious 'early' seals with deluxe trim slot, so should I just go for 'later' deluxe seal. I say 'mysterious' as I thought the window apertures were the same on early and late bays. Wrong?

Also, I'd like to use the metal deluxe window insert I have at present. If I get deluxe seals from Status do I have to use the plastic trim they sell or will the metal insert fit new seal?

the status seal will take your metal insert,i just done mine :wink:

oh,and i didnt need the 30 guid tool for trim, put trim in rubbers on the glass before
they were put in the van.
