I have to clear out some parts, most of which are brand new because I duplicated purchases by accident as I lost track of what parts I had.

Please note that these parts are from my own personal collection and are a private sale, I am (sadly) not a parts trader. Obviously if there are any problems I will help a fellow EarlyBay'er, but I will try to be as accurate as I can with the descriptions.

All items can be collected for free from Northampton or Wisbech locations, if arranged in advance.

___________

Used Complete Off-Side Right Quarter Light

SOLD

The plastic window lock / catch is broken, however they can be replaced.

The overall condition is average and useable, but not show-winning at all. The chrome could do with a good polish and has quite a few scratches in. The outer frame has surface rust, but is solid. The rubber obviously needs replacing. The glass lightly scratched in places. Still a very useable quarter light though, perfect for a bus that needs to just get back on the road for the summer.

£27 + £3.50 Shipping to a UK address.

Used Off-Side Right Cab Door Winder Mechanism

Winding%20Mechnism.jpg~original

There is a lot of play in the winder 'spool' - To clarify, where the winder handle attaches to the mechanism, the handle can move around / 'wobble', but the winder still works.

This might be good to get a bus back on the road for the summer.

New Rear Brake Shoe Fitting Kit '64-'79

Sold

Number 1 is a retaining spring / bracket for the return spring and these kits do not normally come with them. I over ordered and have one spare which I will include with this kit.

Number 2 are slightly longer holding pins than the ones on the left, only by a few mm, but I must have used two different kits from different suppliers when I was rebuilding my rear brake drums. I do not think there is any real difference apart from the short ones are a bit tighter to get the spring on.

£7.50 + £1.50 Shipping to a UK address.

___________

Used Various Wheel Bearing Spacers

Bearing%20Spacers.jpg~original

Dimensions (not 100% precise as I used a ruler rather than a calliper):

1: H=43mm D=5mm OD=45mm ID=36mm
2: H=19mm D=5mm OD=45mm ID=36mm
3: H=19mm D=3mm OD=41mm ID=31mm

A few EarlyBay'ers helped me out with these, so I'll just send them on for a minimal fee in the hope that they help someone else.

£1.50 each + £1.50 Shipping to a UK address.

___________

Trial-Fitted Spring Plate Covers (Price Each)

Sold

Used these to begin winding the spring-plate rubbers into the chassis housing / tube. I should have used some bigger washers to prevent damage, but as I had another duplicated order pair of covers on the shelf, I was not too concerned. However, with a good set of washers, these should be cheap option to repair rusty covers.

I've just read your first message properly after reading this one, there is a mix-up here chap, it is a tailgate / boot lock, not an engine / deck lid one.

It is this one here (IIRC):
http://www.justkampers.com/211-829-231-g-chrome-tailgate-lock-with-keys-for-vw-t2-bay-1968-1971.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The engine / deck lid lock has more of a 'trigger'-type mechanism:
http://www.justkampers.com/211-827-503-l-engine-lid-lock-for-vw-t2-bay-1971-1979.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I obviously don't want you to get the wrong part ;)
