Looking for Devon cooker unit pics, all angles inside outside, all variants, black or white panels looking to build one from scratch! :D

Will this help? It's not EXACTLY what you're after, but it may be better. May be worse! Who knows. Plans for a '70s T2 Devon interior.

as someone else currently drawing up plans for a new interior, that is greatly appreciated!

thanks

Gwar, that's awesome work! 8)
I really need to get around to doing mine. Might have to send you a message for tips when I finally get to that task ;)

Cheers gvee :D

More info for you cab89

Hanging bracket info that I sent to an EB member a few years back :)

Just noticed your restoration posts - nice work.

Wonder if you could help me out? I've just made a Devon style swing-out cooker and I need the measurement for the cooker bracket as shown in the attached pic.

Also does the cooker have any kind of roller or castor to allow it to slide across the floor or is it hung clear of the floor like a door would be?

Thanks David

The bracket is made from 2cm thick wood and measuring from the bottom upwards along the straight edge side nearest the hinged.
It's 6.5cm wide at the base
then 15cm up it's 7.8cm wide
at 30cm it's 7.5cm wide
at 45cm it's 6.5cm wide
and then across top it's 5.5cm wide

In the above two pic's you can see a block at the bottom and a chiseled out piece at the top . I think this is so it sits snug to the rear bulkhead behind the passengers seat.

There is a latch on the back opposite the hinge..

When not in use goes into this mounted in the floor just behind the passenger seat

When open in this one in the floor by the sliding door

As you look at this the bottom side edge is behind bulkhead ( not now as it is in my hallway..!! LoL )

There are no casters/rollers it's just hung a few mm off the floor.

I hope this helps..!!?? :D

A couple more images I've found...

This is the Oak ply veneer I used to repair the side of the cooker. Just mixed some wood stain and tried to stain to the correct colour :)

The swing out piece is the only part I don't have! I have an old cooker unit but it didn't swing out it was stationary. The unit sat on small cylindrical black plastic feet, don't think these were original though?
