I have a 68 but changed the location of the upper brake resevoir to behind the drivers seat, so I want to know if the kick panel off a 71 will fit my 68, in other words is the only difference between the 2 the cut out for the resevoir...I want to cover up the hole where the resevoir was....

My '68 kick panels were very scruffy. So a mate of mine copied them using thin MDF, he made a set for his '77 Bay and a set for my '68. As far as we could tell the only difference was the notch cut out for the brake reservoir.

Same as me made my own new ones out of mdf used the old ones as templates . :)

I bought a pair of plastic repros from Just Kampers.
Top job, then one cracked ... shame.

My mate had a set of those and his cracked too, I was gonna invest in a set but the MDF ones seem a much better bet.

MDF is the way forward, they do tend to mould into shape better after a while aswell. 8)
