Hi, new here. The first of many questions probably.

Just bought my first bus, a 71 dormobile. Trying to work through some of the mechanical things that need doing and give it a service.

Was looking at the air filters today and the one on the RH carb has a hose inserted into it. Is it the oil breather pipe or something, not sure?

Basically is this standard with dual carbs? The hose has been retrofitted to the filter(hole cut into top of filter). The knee on the end of the hose is just wedged in there. I have not seen any filters with a cutout for the hose

you dont have to do this but alot of people do it just burns oil vapour from the breather.
