Elevating roof seal

Can anyone with the same type of roof as mine confirm whether it should have a seal/edging strip around the fibreglass shell.
There isn`t one fitted on mine, making the roof rattle & rubbing the paint off the roof.......

i would go for the universal 'U' shaped seal, its the similar to the one fitted on the Devon fiberglass body, it should stop the rattles and give a reasonble seal.

or I would go for your second option. I have a danbury and your roof is very similar to mine (can't see the top). The section is similar to Nr 2. Works well for driving and dryness.
