Well its looking like I'll be able to make this event! When do the tickets go on sale?

Earlybird tickets on sale now.

£18.50 per adult for the weekend and same price in a family area. OK there is a dreaded paypal fee on top of that, but it gives you instant access to print your tickets so no postage costs. Seems pretty good price to me for a weekend in York, hope they get the numbers .....

You beat me to it haha - thanks. We were down at Dubfreeze at the weekend promoting the show and handing out flyers - got a great response, people seem to love the idea of it being at York Racecourse. We have traders already booking in so looking good and we have the whole summer of shows to get out and promote before the end of August :-D

Had a mostly positive response so far - here, TLB & SSVC and other forums too, already got a few people in the South bought tickets (plus traders from London & even Kent) so I reckon a cruise up would be great - and as you say, it would help to promote the show :p :)

As you all know, this is an aircooled only show. I had so many requests from watercooled owners asking for the nearest campsites etc as they really want to attend the show even though it's aircooled only. What I decided to do as a thanks for their support, as York Racecourse is massive, there is space for us to have a separate watercooled camping area, rather than people having to pay out for a campsite on top of tickets. This would keep the show aircooled but would enable watercooled owners to come and enjoy too if they would like.

I have just released another batch of earlybird tickets, the first lot sold so fast that I thought as it's still early we should have some more - they are limited and when they're gone they're gone.

The Friday night was going to be an amuse yourself night but we have just confirmed a great band - see our Facebook page for details facebook.com/vwfieldofdreams. Also confirmed is that Jez from Dubtricks will be doing some of our tech talks - wooohooo!

Tickets can be purchased through the website http://www.classicvolks.com/vwfieldofdreams.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and through the event on our facebook page https://www.facebook.com/events/307686992685533/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Any questions, just ask - if you are setting up a cruise from anywhere and you would like our logo to use, best place to ask me is over on the facebook page :)

Tickets bought - told g/f there'd be no T4s and she kept at it! :lol:

Great stuff - saw the mention over on Twitter. Is your g/f a t4 lover?

Oops no! I meant to type leapt at it, she's bug & bay all the way! :D

Haha! I should have worked that out really!

Just to let you know - we now have the 'Something Else Tea Tent' confirmed, daytime live music, tea and cakes in a tent (well, it's more like a marquee really). We also have Irie Vibes playing during the day with reggae, ska and other chilled out sounds with a bit of a live brass set at the end which should be fab. We also have bands both Friday and Saturday night! :) Tickets are selling well, traders are confirming and booking in - all going to plan. Any question please do ask :)
