Firewall removal

Hi All

How are the firewalls fixed in place? I've removed the screws around the edge and pushed the top lugs upwards, but still seems pretty stuck fast.

Did they have any kind of seal that I need to try and run a knife through?

Hi.
On mine there were screws going from the petrol tank shelf into the firewall.
If you were laying on your back under the van looking up you would be looking at the heads.

As mentioned above. It's also screwed up through the edge of the tank base, and yes, there's sealant as well.

Yep, there's 2 screw on the bottom lip of the firewall. Unscrew from underneath the van, one either side.

Cheers guys... Had a quick look late on last night and found the screws. Nicely hidden under a layer of filth! Will attack again now and hope the sealant has seen better days.

Also hoping to see a nice clean tank area with no work required!! Haha..
