Found one already, one of the bigger ones with the kitchen room & toilet compartment.
Not a bad price either I don't think, just needs new foam for the cushions.

Wife says NO

 I now have to show her all different sorts of caravans & eventually come back to rapidos & convince her it is her idea to get one  gonna take me ages !!!!!!

It's working!!! ;)

Cheers for the offer bud, unfortunately too late!!
We're off to Bonny Scotland on Saturday to seek our new rapido!! 8) :D

Here's my (ex) Conway laser circa '86 modelled by Isabel (actually that's hannah  )

It's a beaut, sleeps 6, weights 500kgs, a breeze to put up, had it for a week

Told ya we'd get one! :D :msn4:

It needs the box like!!!
Every time a try n move it, it sits up on its arse!!!
Also need somewhere to put the wheel race & wooden chocs etc.
I was thinking of sticking one of the old steamer trunks to the front???

Well, I bought another one.

This was back in September, and as we're supposed to be going away in it at Easter I thought I'd better get started.

There's a portable 230V hookup fitted and no 12V, so that's were I began.

A previous owner has stuck the hookup down, and it won't come loose. The lid is secured from the base so some medieval techniques were used to remove the top.
Good job I'm replacing it as the incoming earth wasn't even connected, just cut off.

Goodbye....

Still needs wiring, a front box, new foam, a pair of tyres and a small leak sorting. Plenty of time.

Almost done.
New kitchen unit support.

Roof lifting strap refitted.

Front box rebuilt and refitted. Needs the black paint removing and a little more work, but it's good enough for the moment.

Spare wheel and bracket back on as well.
Now there's just the new foam to cover.

When is Easter again?
