I'm not into all this lowering of the campervan and mine is low at the front, not excessive but I'd like the tyres to be clear of the wheel arch by a cm or two.

Can my garage do it or would you go to a specialist, they think it is adjustable and they can do it.

All thoughts welcome, I do trust the garage I use and they've done work on the camper and my old mk2 golf etc over the years.

thanks

Matt

It is likely that you already have adjusters welded into your beam - and if so, the chances are dropping it to the level you want will cause all the ball joints to start bottoming out, and the ride will be awful.

I'd do a bit of research into dropped / flipped spindles as they will probably get you what you're after and retain the ride comfort.

Check to see if you have adjusters fitted.
If you do then it is a relatively simple task to raise the suspension.
If you don't, then you're likely to have a static drop via a cut-n-turned beam, which you can't really sort that easily!
