Failed the MOT today and might have to replace the front wheel bearings. Does anyone know the product code for *** bearings or any other good bearing? 1970 model, manufactured late 69.

If they failed on play, I'd just tighten 'em up (loosen them again afterwards). As long as they're not rumbly. These things were designed to have some play in them to account for expansion as they warmed up.

Anyway-

Outer bearing 211405645D- looks like it's still available, but no price.
Inner bearing F2152000001 No longer available
Seal 211405641D 16.30 Euros

Hopefully not hijacking , but would be very grateful if you could tell me the amount of play to expect?
I know it's very difficult to be exact but about would be great.

67 on at bottom gives you the *** codes

Thanks, although trying to find non-Chinese bearings is going to be tricky. Nobody will display the country of manufacture, but will state that they are good reproductions blah blah. Let's hope the grease dried up and the bearings are fine. Is there an SKF equivalent?

I think I saw some tolerances mentioned before. Do a forum search for wheel bearing...and you might come across it.

Very tricky, I have just got a boge steering damper with boge Germany all over the box but a small made in china on the end of the box. Paid extra hoping for better quality aswell.

I used timken ones. If you search ebay for timken with the codes off the samba site there's loads on there including nos ones and they're dead cheap

Looks like these then...

Although I'm reading that these are also Chinese/ Indian.
