Hi guys, I recently (approx. 2-3 months ago) replaced the fuel pump, pushrod and base with all new parts from JustKampers.
Last night my Bay broke down, and I have taken the fuel pump off today to find that the end of the pushrod has been ground down, so the cam doesn't lift the pushrod past the base at all therefore no fuel is being pumped.
has anyone encountered this problem before? Is it likely to be a super stiff fuel pump, or a problem in the bottom end?
the pushrod lifted out of the base just fine so it wasn't sticking in the shaft.
