Fuel tank

Hi,

I have this fuel tank in my garage which I need to get out of the way. It came out of my old crossover bay.

Before I advertise it, I want to know what it will fit. I'm assuming early or crossover only?

That's not an early tank, this one is.



Your tank has an additional breather outlet on the sides, and no pronounced central hump.

My '68 tank is the same as Andy's, that one you have might be for a crossover only.

These pages are from the '68 parts book, printed in '71. So this tank came from a bus with VIN 212 2000 001 or higher. But would it fit a late bay as well?






Looks like it could fit late bays as well ... but not sure if all of the differences between early & late bay tanks were in the '72 tank :?
