I've just read 11 pages of search results about fuseboxes (couldn't sleep) and i've now got a few questions.
I've got a 69 RHD imported from Australia. It has the relays mounted on the bracket behind the instruments and it also has a 12 fuse fusebox that at the moment is hanging down by the drivers right knee. So question number one is: am i supposed to have a 10 fuse fusebox, and question number 2 is: should the fusebox be located behind the glovebox or behind the dash on the RHS. Any pictures of how a 10 fuse fusebox mounts? Thanks for any answers.

When i had a '71 UK RHD bus the fuse box (12 fuses) was underneath the glove box on the passenger side (nearside) but on my '69 RHD African import its behind the dashboard / gauges (off side) and its a 10 way fuse box.
If everythings working then i wouldn't bother whether its a 10 way or 12 way. They usually mount into a bracket

it should be left hand side....my crewie rhd and deluxe lhd both mounted to the left.....being an aussie bus not too sure on the number of fuses, australia had there own factory where some elements were manufactured ie the wipers on ozzie busses for a short period had the correct orientation in that they swept to the right and is only available in oz strange that ireland didnt do this or south africa.....

oh the fuse box should clip into the bracket that your relays are on unless it is the fact that the PO couldnt lay his hands on a 10 fuse when / if it was replaced and hence its too long to clip in....

pics will help

Done a bit more research. The buses that have a 10 fuse fusebox have it located on the RHS just under the dashboard, the 12 fuse fuseboxes are located on the LHS behind the glovebox/instruments (good picture in haynes). Mines on the RHS but is a 12 fuse box but as froggy says if its working why change it. My bus was made in Germany and exported to Oz. For info the fusebox i've got fitted is a 135 937 505.
