Hopefully a quick one, just changing the gearbox oil on the bus but have found that both the fill and drain plugs are identical. They both have a machined hole in them that looks like it was intended for a magnet, but alas, there is no magnet present.

Should they have them as standard?

Hopefully they're not floating around inside the box... :msn4:

Have changed my gearbox oil a couple of times and never had a magnetic plug!
Suppose it wouldnt be too difficult to araldite one in though?

i noticed the same when I last changed my gear oil so I'm guessing not. You can buy magnetic ones though

Pretty sure (without looking) mine has a magnet with the drain plug, but not on the filler - if that helps or not?
