Handbrake cable .... HELP !!

Hi all - need help! Been trying to fit new handbrake cables and they don’t look long enough !
something isn’t right - see pics below.
Any help would be great fully received









it’s a 69 rhd bay. Not convinced the outer sleeve and inner spiral guide look right either

Is yours '69 Model Year or '69 built?
The ones you've got are for '68 Model Year that ran from August 1968 to July 1969.

Hey sparkywig- mine was registered Sept 69 / built March 69.
JK gave me 2 choices internal connection or external.
Any idea what i need ??

Cheers fella - they’re brand new! one is still in bag. Bought them from JK this week. I’ll speak to them tomorrow to see if they’ll credit me against something else I need first if that’s ok.

Quick question - bought clutch gas and heater cables at same time , guess i need to check them
