Welcome aboard mate, i was in a similar situation this time last year, there wasn't much available at the time in my price range though. If i'm honest we probably rushed into buying one  , and didn't envisage the amount of work and money this purchase would consume  . On the plus side however, a week ago she flew through the M-O-T and we wouldn't swop her for the world. So, take your time and chose well, good luck with it all....be careful though, these things are addictive :D

Hi Jonny,
If you find anything in or near Milton Keynes I will happily take a look at it for you.
I have owned a RHD and now LHD import along with a 60s bug. I'm not an expert by any stretch but happy to help.

As 66nige said, don't rush into it. Usually the cheaper vans need lots of work and even when you do the work yourself it will cost a lot in the long run. But doing a project is much cooler and will really make it your own. Anyways, it's hardly ever cheap so keep that in mind.

One last warning...it will take over your life (in a good way usually)! 8)

Cheers for the welcomes, been looking for a few weeks theres a cal import on ebay at moment at manchester item no 261984903098,looks solid enough but a bit rattled, engines probably shot but didn't think it was too badly priced?? After a bit of reading do you just need the Nova and american title-I presume this is the US documents-to register + mot.
I was thinking around £5-8k for a project welding dependent.I could afford that now and when my M3 sells thats the project funder, also on ebay if anybody's in the market item no 151774090245
