Hi all - as the title says - how do you remove the rear brake cable conduit from the hub carrier?

It is the black conduit pipe on the top of the pic (for those who don't know)

One of mine just pulled out, the other wouldn't budge for love nor money so got cut off and went in the bin with the rotten backing plate!

Read some threads on here that refer to a clip holding the cable in but no evidence of it on mine.

Hi Bud, persistence and penetration fluid ,, the real stuff not WD40, wriggle wriggle, fluid, next day wriggle wriggle fluid , there might be a type of circlip, but I may be wrong or it may be only on some years, :?

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Etc Etc

Thanks Kevin and Ozzie....

Don't want to cut it so will give the penetration fluid a go over the next few days and see how it goes. Fingers crossed!
