I have domed caps on my crossover and think these may be off and early, I need to know as I am on the look out for some og or new stainless ones

was going to have mine rechromed but have be quoted between £300 and £400 for four

cheers lobie

Just measured some repro ones Marty.

240mm inside lip
254mm outside lip.

Hope that helps

just measured the flat stock caps that I have and there the same as the domed ones

Be careful with the stainless ones - mine started to rust within a couple of months of fitting them

doh! even **** stainless normally has more life in it than that, where you get them from and how much they cost?

I need to get some caps

I think they were about £35 each but can't remember where I got them from I'm afraid.

I stored them, in the loft, for a couple of years as my restoration took longer than expected.

Tragically I think that's about the going rate for chroming. My colleague paid £90 for one motorcycle fuel filler cap to be rechromed!

I got all my handles chromed for £120. £90 for a filler cap seems excessive!
