Well I scored a early copper Hurst shifter for my bus...only thing is it's for a early bus, found out trying to install it, so after adding a 1/2" plate under the base it was ready to go....shifts nice and tight too....only thing is it gets in the way when in 1st gear when you want to engage the emergency brake....are the early Hursts bent differently than the later units or is this common?

here's some pixies, everyone likes the pixies

i think its a problem with them all.(all non standard shifters that is). engaging first and trying pull away on a hill while attempting to use the handbrake means you need 3 legs and 2 pairs of handies :D :D :D
